Cricket

Tape Ball Cricket - 11 aside matches

Match Format

  • 11 aside matches
  • All matches will be played on Knockout basis
  • For Knockout stage 4 overs will be played
  • Bowling limit is 2-1
  • For Semi-Final and Final 5 overs will be played
  • Bowling limit is 2-2-1
  • In case of a draw super over will be given

Equipment & Rules

  • Tape Ball will be used
  • Fiber bats are not allowed
  • Chuking is not allowed
  • Waist height No Ball rule will be followed
  • The umpire's decision will be final

Disqualification

  • Any team that fails to show up within 15 minutes will be disqualified
  • The other team will be awarded a walkover

Futsal

5 players per team with fast-paced indoor action

Team Composition

  • 5 players per team
  • 3 substitutes allowed
  • A match can't continue if a team has fewer than 3 players

Match Duration

  • Two halves of 10 minutes each (running clock)
  • All matches will be knockout basis
  • In case of a draw, penalty shootouts will happen

Rules & Equipment

  • Slide tackles will be off, Yellow cards will be awarded
  • All free-kicks are indirect
  • Only Grippers are allowed (no studs allowed)
  • Referee's decision will be final
  • Any fight or use of vulgar language will result in a direct red card
  • If the team doesn't show up in 15 mins, then a walkover will be given

Basketball

5v5 basketball with full court rules

Team Composition

  • Each team consists of 5 active players on the court
  • 3 substitutes allowed
  • 5 minutes for one quarter, 20 minutes per match
  • 1 time out per quarter (one minute)

Playing Rules

  • A player must dribble while moving with the ball
  • Traveling (moving without dribbling) is not allowed
  • Double dribble is not allowed
  • Pivot shouldn't be moved
  • If a player commits 5 personal fouls in a quarter, they are terminated
  • The three-second rule will be followed
  • Backcourt Rule applies

Fouls & Free Throws

  • If fouled while shooting inside the arc → 2 free throws
  • If fouled while shooting outside the arc → 3 free throws
  • If the shot is made despite the foul, basket counts + 1 additional free throw
  • Reach-in fouls will be called
  • Moving-screen violations apply
  • No fake is allowed in free throw → results in a foul
  • Line cut, crossing the line will result in change of possession
  • Referee's decision will be final

Throwball

7 players per team with fast-paced action

Team Composition

  • 7 players on court
  • Up to 3 substitutes allowed
  • There will be a Knockout format used for all teams

Match Format

  • Each match will be composed of three sets
  • 15 points per set
  • Serve and side of court will be decided by coin flip
  • Players will have to change their positions after set immediately

Rules

  • Ball must be thrown within 5 seconds
  • No step on or over the baseline and it should be diagonal
  • Throwing ball in dead zone is against rules
  • Jump smashes are allowed
  • Ball is dropped, fumble or ball touches body or thrown with both hands will be considered as foul
  • Use of foul language or unsporting behavior may lead to warnings, point penalties, or disqualification
  • Captains are responsible for team conduct
  • Teams will have to report within 10 mins prior to venue or a walkover will be given

Dodgeball

High-energy team elimination game

Team Composition

  • Each team will consist of 7 active players on the court at a time
  • 3 substitutes allowed

Match Format

  • A match will consist of one round lasting 5 minutes
  • If a team eliminates all members of the opposing team within the time limit, they are declared the winner
  • If both teams still have players remaining at the end of 5 minutes, the team with the most players left on court will be declared the winner
  • The winning time is recorded for tie-breakers

Rules

  • A successful catch keeps the catching player safe
  • Catching a ball grants the catching team a bonus advantage, of extra life

Volleyball

6 playing, 2 subs - Knock out rounds

Team Composition

  • 6 playing, 2 subs
  • Knock out rounds will be followed
  • 25 point one set for early rounds
  • Semi's and finals will be of 3 sets

Playing Rules

  • Serve will be allowed after touching or without touching the net
  • The server must stay behind the baseline until contact with the ball
  • A team may touch the ball up to 3 times before returning it
  • The same player cannot touch the ball twice in succession, except when first contact is a block
  • Only front-row players can block
  • Blocking or Attacking the serve is not allowed

Rules & Conduct

  • Each team gets 2 timeouts per set (30 seconds each)
  • Referee's decision will be final
  • Use of Vulgar language will lead to a red card
  • Ball touching the court lines will be considered in
  • Line cut will be considered a foul if it interrupts the play

Tug of War

Team strength competition

Team Composition

  • Each team consists of 8 players
  • 1 or 2 substitutes may be allowed
  • Players must fall under a combined team weight limit (varies by category)
  • Ages will be verified by checking B-form, ID cards or student cards

Match Format

  • Match will be played on grass or dirt ground
  • A single match will be the best of three pulls
  • Matches will be overseen by qualified referees

Rules & Fouls

  • Any 3 fouls or serious misconduct will lead to the disqualification of the whole team
  • Inspection of shoes and hands may be done by referees
  • A player with illegal footwear (studs, spikes) will lead to disqualification until they are changed
  • Sitting or touching the ground intentionally, locking the rope under the arm or across the body, jerking or sudden pulls, false starts before the "pull" call, and general misconduct are all prohibited

Scavenger Hunt

Adventure-based team challenge

Boundaries

  • Participants would be assigned a specific perimeter
  • Going out of it would result in disqualification

Time Limit

  • A set time limit would be given to hunt down all the clues
  • The team to hunt all the clues and find the object within the given time will have to report back to the starting point
  • The team to report back first would win

Team Rules

  • Teams must stay together and splitting of members would result in disqualification
  • Cheating & Sabotage: Any attempts to cheat, lie, steal, or sabotage other teams will result in disqualification
  • Final Decision: The team to hunt all the clues and find the object within the given time will have to report back to the starting point

Badminton

Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles

General Rules

  • All players must arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled match
  • A walkover may be awarded if a player or team arrives more than 10 minutes late
  • The tournament will follow a knockout format
  • A "golden point" will be played if a player or team loses points consecutively twice
  • If the shuttlecock touches the ceiling, the rally will be replayed (repoint)
  • Double touches will be considered a foul

Singles Rules

  • Matches will be played to 11 points, 1 set only
  • Cross-court serving is mandatory
  • In singles, the back gallery is in, and the side lines are out
  • Semifinals and finals will be played as Best of 3 sets (3 sets of 11 points each)

Doubles and Mixed Doubles Rules

  • Matches will be played to 21 points per set
  • Semifinals and finals will be played as Best of 3 sets
  • Cross-court serving is mandatory
  • In doubles, side lines are in, and the back gallery is in except during the serve (back gallery is out on serve)
  • Proper rotation and serving order must be maintained throughout the match

Athletics

Track and field events

Track Events

  • 100 Meter Sprint
  • 200 Meter Sprint
  • 4 × 400 Meter Relay

General Rules

  • Participants must report to the ground at least 15 minutes before race
  • Athletes must remain in their designated lanes throughout the race
  • False Start Rule: Any athlete who makes a false start will be disqualified
  • Judges' and referees' decisions are final and binding

4 × 400 Meter Relay Rules

  • Each team consists of four athletes, each running one lap of 100m
  • The first leg starts in designated lanes with a staggered start
  • Athletes must exchange the baton within the 20m changeover zone
  • Dropping the baton is not an automatic disqualification; the athlete who dropped it must recover it without obstructing others
  • Teams must finish with the same baton used at the start of the race

Table Tennis

Individual and doubles table tennis

General Rules

  • Games are played to 11 points, one set per match (knockout rounds)
  • Each player serves two points in a row; at 10–10, service alternates after every point
  • The ball must be tossed upward and bounce once on each side for a legal serve
  • A "let" is called if the serve touches the net but lands correctly, or if the receiver was not ready
  • Players must not touch the table or net, hit the ball before it bounces, or place their free hand on the playing surface
  • The referee's decision will be final
  • Players must not speak during a point. Grunting is allowed, but talking is not
  • Any misconduct with the referee will lead to immediate disqualification

Serve Rules

  • The serve must start with the ball resting freely on the open palm, behind the end line of the table
  • The ball must be tossed upward vertically at least 16 cm before being struck
  • The ball must not be hidden from the opponent; it should remain visible at all times during the serve

Singles, Doubles & Mixed Doubles

  • Singles: The serve may be played from anywhere to anywhere on the opponent's side
  • Doubles and Mixed Doubles: Serves must be played diagonally, from the right-hand court to the opponent's right-hand court
  • Partners must alternate shots during rallies
  • Service and receiving order must remain consistent throughout the game
  • Teams consist of one male and one female for Mixed Doubles
  • Communication between partners is allowed, but players must not block or interfere with opponents

Strongmen

Arm Wrestling, Calisthenics, and Weight Lifting

Arm Wrestling

  • Weight Categories:
  • Female: Under 47kg, 47-60 kg, 60 and above kg
  • Male: Under 65kg, 66-75 kg, Above 75 kg
  • Matches will be conducted best of 3 rounds
  • Elbows should be firmly on the pad
  • Referees decision would be final

Weight Lifting

  • Weight Categories:
  • Female: Under 47kg, 47-60 kg, 60 and above kg
  • Male: Under 65kg, 66-75 kg, Above 75 kg
  • Bench Press: Each participant will have a total of three attempts. Lie flat on the bench with head, shoulders, and butt in contact. Grip the bar with thumbs wrapped around it. Your hands must not be wider than the marked rings. Hold the bar steady at the top until the referee gives the "Rack" command.
  • DeadLift: Each participant will have a total of three attempts. Both sumo and conventional stances are allowed. You may use a mixed grip, overhand grip or a Hooked grip. The lift is complete only after the bar is placed back on the platform

Calisthenics

  • Push-Up Rules: Hands placed flat on the ground, slightly wider than shoulder-width. Chest must lightly touch the ground (or elbows bent to at least 90°). Push upward until arms are fully extended/locked out. No sagging hips, no raised hips, no bent knees. Feet shoulder-width apart, no repositioning mid-set.
  • Pull-Up Rules: Athlete hangs from the bar with arms fully extended, overhand grip, and body still. Chin must clearly pass above the bar without head tilting. Return to full dead hang with elbows locked before beginning the next rep. No Momentum – Strict pull-ups only. No kipping, swinging, or leg use.

Lawn Tennis

Singles matches - Best of three sets

Match Format

  • Matches will be singles
  • Matches are best of three sets
  • Players shall Change sides after every set

Scoring

  • Scoring: 15, 30, 40, Game (win by two at deuce)

Serve Rules

  • Serve diagonally
  • Two attempts per point

Padel

2v2 racket sport with glass walls

Match Format

  • It will be 2v2
  • All matches will be knock out basis
  • Match will be of 3 sets
  • Golden Point at deuce

Playing Rules

  • Serve must be underhand, bounce once in a diagonal box
  • Ball may hit glass/walls after the first bounce
  • Referees Decision would be final

Disqualification

  • If a player does not come within 10 minutes of their match an automatic walkover will be given

Carrom

Traditional tabletop game competition

Game Rules

  • Cover the Queen: Pocket the Queen, then pocket one of your own pieces immediately on the next shot
  • Striker Foul (Scratch): If the striker is pocketed, you lose your turn, and one piece is returned to the board
  • Flicking Only: Must flick the striker; no pushing

Endgame Rules

  • Cannot pocket your last piece until the Queen is covered
  • Player with most points wins

Chess

Strategic board game competition

General Rules

  • FIDE rules apply to all games
  • Being more than 10 minutes late may result in a walkover
  • The number of rounds depends on total participants
  • Win = 1 point, Draw = 0.5 point, Loss = 0 points
  • Tie-breaks will be used if players have equal points

Playing Rules

  • Touch-move rules will be strictly followed
  • Operate the clock with the same hand used to make the move
  • Any illegal move must be reported to the arbiter immediately
  • Walkover: If a player is absent, the opponent receives 1 point and the absent player 0

Conduct

  • Unfair assistance or misconduct will lead to disqualification
  • Any disputes will be settled by the judges' decision
  • Players are expected to maintain discipline and sportsmanship

Ludo

Classic board game tournament

Game Rules

  • A toss of the number 6 will allow the player to allow their piece to move on the board
  • Players go in clockwise rotation
  • The player chooses which piece to move after each toss
  • A piece revolves around the track indicated by the thrown number in a clockwise orientation
  • Play moves on to the next player if no piece can legitimately move based on the number thrown

Special Rules

  • Another turn is granted on a throw of 6
  • To move a piece from the beginning circle to the first square on the track, a player must throw a 6
  • The player then has another turn, as the piece moves six squares around the circuit starting with the start square that matches its colour

Interaction Rules

  • If a piece lands on a piece of a different color, the piece jumped upon is returned to its starting circle
  • If a piece lands upon a piece of the same color, this forms a block
  • This block cannot be passed or landed on by any opposing piece

Gaming

Esports competitions - Tekken 8, Call of Duty, FC25

General Rules

  • All rounds will be knock-out basis
  • PS5 will be used
  • Being 10 min late to your match will result in a walkover to the opponent
  • All matches will be held on controller
  • Outside interference is strictly prohibited

Tekken 8 Rules

  • 1 match consisting of 3 rounds of 1 min each
  • No dlc characters allowed
  • Exiting the game will result in instant disqualification
  • Pausing the game will result in an instant disqualification
  • The semi final will be a first to 2 games each consisting of 3 rounds
  • The finals will be a first to win 3 games each consisting of 3 rounds

Call of Duty Black Ops 3 & FC25

  • Call of Duty: The game mode will be a gun game with map swiping and a setback of 3. No abilities or grenades are allowed. The map will be Nuke town or if both players agree, they may choose the map themselves. The finals will have no time limit and will be played with a setback of 1.
  • FC25: Half Length: 5 minutes, semifinals and finals 6 mins. Difficulty Level: Legendary (or World Class). Substitutions are Allowed. Direct Penalty Shootout if there is a draw. Club or National teams only (with the latest transfers). Pausing is allowed only when the ball is out of play. Controller settings must be configured before kickoff. You can bring your own controllers (if not we will provide them)
